Hey gang, tickets have just gone on sale for the Broadway show " All my sons' an Arthur Miller classic which will run from Sept 18 until mid January. Katie will be starring in it with John Lithgow, Dianne Weist and Patrick Wilson. My friend just got me tickets for the third performance on Sept 21 and I must say I am pretty psyched! I havent been to a Broadway show in a while and this was a great opportunity to see a great play and Katie perform on the Broadway stage at the same time. For those of us in this area seeing the bright lights on the Great White Way is something you grew up seeing and have been used to all your life. All these wonderful theaters with plays and musicals galore. If you ever get a chance to come to New York it is really something to see. They say the neon lights on bright....on Broadway...on Broadway...they say there's always magic in the air. la la la la la!

not related to "all my sons" but saw Batman Dark Knight (last night) and the girl that they replaced Katie with was horrid to watch. Katie would have played the role a lot better IMO.
Gary enjoy the show!

Thanks Buffy and Todd! Im looking forward to it. Katie has been seen quite a bit by the local papers walking the streets with script and papers in hand heading for rehearsals. It looks like a great cast and we are going to a Sunday matinee followed by dinner reservations at the famed Sardi's. Im even thinking of getting my limo driver, Carlos to take us into the city in style. If you ever get a chance and you have never been to New York you have to come pay us a visit and see a show. Autumn and Holiday time is a great time of season not only for Broadway plays, but Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden has their Holiday shows going on along with all the sport teams in action and the city decorated for the holidays. Just walking the Avenues to see the store fronts and head to NBC to see the Christmas tree is worth an afternoon. The city has a special energy during this time of the year. It is prolly why I stay in the area until after Super Sunday to do any traveling. Come visit.

You are right Gary, the city looks great during the holiday season. There's a special feeling in the air sort of speak. I love just walking around the city for hours looking at store fronts. Not to mention the park looks really great when it snows.
Unfortunately I have never seen a show on Broadway. I have been dying to see something but my hubbie keeps on putting it off. I was hoping for tickets for our 6th wedding-ann but that did not happen.
Will have to just take matters into my own hands and go by my self

I love NYC...I've never been during the holidays and I was just telling my bf that I want to go this year! Wish me luck on trying to convince him to going to a broadway show!

Meloch and phez, Not everyone gets into Broadway and sometimes you do have to do things seperately from your significant other. A lot of times you can find discounts for matinees. If that doesnt work and you come in for the holidays you might have a better chance of convincing them to the Christmas Show at Radio City and to see the tree at Rockefeller Plaza. Thats always fun and though not a Broadway show, per se, its the type of show that is fun for everyone and really gets you in the holiday spirit and it makes for a great day. But first come the Labor Day Barbecues and the beginning of football season for me.....GO GIANTS!!!

I went to see All My Sons on Sunday and it was superb. If you get a chance to come in to New York City before the end of this run to see this Broadway classic I suggest you do. First off, I know you are all asking " How was Katie?" Well, gang I have to say that I thought she was great! I might be a bit biased toward our Kate but she really was wonderful. John Lithgow and Dianne Weist are absolutely the best of the best!!! These oscars winners steal the show. The stage set and the entire cast were wonderful and it goes without saying that Arthur Miller's play is a true classic. In regards to Katie I came away with this. I really believe that she should do more Broadway. She hit every mark and every line. She played her character just right and really played it nicely. It was quite dramatic and she brought her character alive. I would much rather see her in dramatic roles like this than in farcical films like Mad Money. I think alot of folks underestimate her talent. Everyone knows that Broadway is the real deal. No fooling around on set like TV and films and you only get one shot at getting it right. All the best go back to it to get their chops down when they have been on screen for too long. She really was great. The first thing that really hit me when the cast first walked on stage prior to the start was how gorgeous she is. And then when the show started and the story drew you in you realize how great Broadway can be. There really is nothing like the live stage. It is a great story and I urge everyone who can to check it out.
