So this morning I'm watching the episode "100 Lights Years from Home" from season 5........the spring break episode. There is a part when Charlie Todd (Chad Michael Murray) is talking to this girl at the MTV bash and it is none other than Hilarie Burton!! Some of you will get this and some of you won't, but Hilarie Burton plays Peyton Sawyer on One Tree Hill.........a show that Chad Michael Murray is on (he plays Lucas Scott) .....and both of their characters are now dating on OTH. Too funny!

i noticed it as well. the interesting thing is how young she looks...very little makeup compared to what she wears as P.Sawyer.

I notice silly things like joeys mic showing or her hair changing position in a scene.

I notice the little things too like hair changing and they sometimes use wardrobe more than once. Like I noticed Joey wore a sweater and then Andie wore the same one. My fave blooper is the episode where Jack hurts his shoulder and has it in a sling and at the party there is a scene where they have the sling on the wrong arm..I just think thats funny. I notice that stuff a lot more now that I have seen every episode more times than I can count..

Stellar when have you have noticed Joeys mic showing? lol its funny i can't think of anything in particular at the moment that i've noticed but overall I know i usually do notice little things like that.
And as for the Hilarie Burton thing in season 5 I knew that a long time ago but I also of course knew her from MTV etc. I love her! man she has really grown up this then haha

I notice mic packs all the time too - on various characters. Sometimes it's pretty obvious! I think the more times you watch certain episodes, you're bound to see something new that you didn't see previously. I notice the continuity stuff too -- Joey's hair being in front of her ears in one shot and then a second later, behind her ears. Just little stuff like that.

What I like to do when I watch DC, is look at the scenery and see how many Palm Trees and other southern trees I can spot and say "Alright Mr. Williamson and Mr. Stupin (the show's executive producers) we know this is North Carolina and not Massachusetts, so just admit it already!" (LOL!)

Theres afew times in which i have noticed mics but the best one is the scene when joey tells dawson she wants to be with pacey and dawson tells her to go to him. They on on the peir during his parents wedding. It was easy to notice coz of the wind and the dress she was wearing. I love that scene to death.

yeah i guess i have noticed the hair flips andstuff too ...and yeah my friend is from Massachusetts and she is like "yeah there is no where in Mass that looks like that not even small towns so wth?" lol
and yeah i have noticed stuff i just can't think of anything at the moment...
actually you bring up the last episode in the season 3 finale with Joeys mic on the pier so i have popped in that DVD at the moment and I am watching it and already I've noticed a couple of things but before i get to that can i just say one thing that I've ALWAYS noticed and its not an error in filming but it annoys me greatly....Joey...when she is kissing...she always looks like she is in pain....annoys me...she squints her eyes in this way like she's in pain....
anyway- okay so i think i noticed this before but in this episode when Doug pulls over Joey they are on Airlie Road 
When Joey goes to confront Pacey and he walks out of store eating a candybar...behind them as they are walking you can see a yellow flower and that is that place where they filmed in season two when Pacey frosted his tips haha i forget the name at the moment..OH Jet Saloon or something...anyway i remember seeing that when i was there but ALSO you can see the Battleship behind them too haha this way you know what street they were on and its funny cuz i mean i guess i would notice this because i've been there but while Joey and Pacey are walking they turn a corner and they are on another street where they end up at the wall and well...the street they were on where the ship was behind them around the corner....well if you have been to Wilmington you know that street is quite a ways away from Joeys wall lol not around the corner...i just noticed this since i'm watching it and thought that was funny...
**moments later....
I just watched that scene on the dock and i never saw any mic...It mainly showed her face as they talked and i saw nothing...hmmm

In one of the Airlie Road scenes you will notice that the water level of the intercoastal waterway is completely different in two camera shots even though it is the same continuous scene on the show.

Hey all! If im not mistaken GrooveJet Salon is on Princess near Hells Kitchen. So if you look down the hill toward the water the battleship is in the distance. The wall is on Front and Dock across from Reel Cafe. I did notice Hilarie in that MTV episode with Katie and Chad. That is actually Hilarie's real hair color back in the day when MTV discovered her for TRL. She loves it more than the blonde for OTH but Ive always liked Peyton's hair color. Especially in the early seasons when it was so curly.
She has just started her own production company and will not be back for season 7 of OTH due to " creative control". I also understand that Chad wont be back either. I dont know in what direction they will go. In so many ways the show was always really about Lucas and Peyton. Word is they might come back for an occassional spot. But maybe this is when Brooke will find true love.......Hope everyone here in the group has been doing well.

Gary - I didn't hear that about Hilarie and Chad not returning to OTH. Hmmm....I agree with you that the show very much centered on them and with them gone....will be hard to fill up the hour with the rest of the cast.
I read last week that the actor that plays Skills was busted for selling Social Security cards/numbers...so his days on OTH might be over too.

HAHA guys as much as I LOVE DAWSONS CREEK I AM A HUGE FAN OF ONE TREE HILL so i knew all of this already of course! haha but okay so #1 i agree I like the blonde on Peyton/Hilarie better than Hilaries natural hair color...
#2. I agree i LOVE OTH and will still watch loyally but have no idea how they could have the show without Lucas and Peyton. Lucas is the narrator of the show and has been since episode one!
#3. I read about Antwon( Skillz ) yesterday and couldn't believe it! but yeah an article I read said that he may not be asked back because of this...I did also read that Austin Nichols ( Julian on the show ) will be in the next season so...
anyway back to Dawsons Creek LOL j/k

Nicole---OTH has become a favorite of ours too. This season really is in a lull....can we get somesort of drama that is real. I don't care about Victoria/Sam.
Gary...Blonde P.Sawyer is way hot compared to el naturale P.Sawyer. Although recently i think season 5....p.sawyer in ripped jeans....holy smokes!

I've noticed way too many ridiculous things, I can't even begin to name them all! Anyway, one thing- in season 5 when Oliver & Dawson go to "NY" to meet with Andrew Waller for the movie, his office you will notice is actually the same set (i'm assuming it was a set) they use later in S6 for Jack, Pacey, and Emma's apartment.
For some ridiculous reason, I always notice Jen's (or Michelle Williams rather) up and down weight throughout S5, and actually all through the seasons, haha.
This is not necessarily episode related- but in Hell's Kitchen in S6, there are those gold bars on the bar where they slide the beer through or whatever.. a guy from hell's kitchen told me they took them off because they were in the way, and if you go to hell's kitchen, you can see the holes in the bar from the gold bars haha. And the Parking for Boston Fans only from DC is still up behind the bar.
